Simon Equity Partners is a multi-family office based in San Francisco, California. Established in 1998, the firm focuses on making growth capital investments in the consumer space. The goal is to use financial and operational expertise and an extensive network to help build valuable businesses with entrepreneurs who inspire. As a family office without limited partner pressure, we are able to structure investments we believe are most closely aligned with company founders. Because we are privately held, we tend to make decisions quickly, allow for more flexibility on deal structure, and limit the need for predetermined timelines on an exit. We also have the ability to continue to reinvest in our portfolio companies as they grow and demonstrate success. We always expect to provide more than just capital to our portfolio companies. We strive to use both our internal expertise and the broader Simon network to help our managers find and recruit talent, evolve operational processes, grow revenues and build their brands. We also offer our CEOs and management teams feedback, input, advice, and guidance on improving margins and expanding distribution.
