Sheikh Jamal Hassan Jawa in 1986. It was one of the earliest private equity-focused investment firms in the Middle East. Sheikh Jamal Jawa, who has been the firm's chairman since inception, was also a prominent figure in Saudi government, holding numerous leadership roles. Starling International Management is currently investing in private equity. Investments in private equity include buyout, diversified private equity, and private equity growth expansion strategies. The firm invests in Buyout funds in Western Europe and the USA.
