Beemok Capital is the Charleston-based single family office of billionaire Ben Navarro and invests in the real estate and hospitality industries, specifically hotels, resorts, restaurants, and entertainment. Beemok Hospitality Group's current assets include an investment in Hotel Domestique, a luxury hotel along the base of the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains, and control of the Credit One Bank Stadium and LTP Tennis Center in Charleston, a state-of-the-art tennis and entertainment facility and host of the WTA 500 Credit One Charleston Open (formerly, the Volvo Car Open). Beemok Capital offers financial services. In 2021, Beemok Capital acquired Charleston Place. Beemok Capital is also the parent company of Beemok Sports and Entertainment, today announced key leadership changes in its tennis operations. Bob Moran has been appointed to the newly created role of President of Beemok Sports and Entertainment. In this role, Mr. Moran will oversee both the Western & Southern Open (a combined ATP & WTA 1000 tournament) and the Credit One Charleston Open (a WTA 500 tournament). His position will absorb the responsibilities of Katie Haas, the current head of the Western & Southern Open, who is departing to pursue a new opportunity outside of tennis. Todd Martin, Head of Tennis for Beemok Sports and Entertainment, will partner with Mr. Moran and continue to serve as a senior leader in Beemok’s growing tennis portfolio.
