AGRA is a dynamic partnership working across the African continent to help millions of small-scale farmers and their families lift themselves out of poverty and hunger. Their programs develop practical solutions to significantly boost farm productivity and incomes for the poor while safeguarding the environment. AGRA works to catalyze a uniquely African Green Revolution by creating transformative partnerships. Despite the challenges African farmers face today - poor soils, degraded soils, unreliable water supplies, poor access to markets, insufficient access to finance and credit and too little government support - Africa‘s smallholder farmers produce most of Africa‘s food.
